Elton Xhoja was born into an artistic family in his native country of Albania. Both of his grandparents are very well known actors in Albania, and his aunt is an accomplished classical pianist from Italy. Elton began his own musical journey at the Mujo Ulqinaku Elementary Music School in Albania and continued his studies through high school. After graduating high school he moved to Greece where he studied at the popular Nakas Conservatory of Music.

Following his graduation from Nakas, he received a scholarship to Boston's prestigious Berklee College of Music where he had the opportunity of performing with and learning from some of the world's finest musicians.
He majored and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education. He is a certified teacher by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education of MA and is employed by the Brookline Public Schools and Saint Jerome Elementary School in Weymouth MA, where he teaches grades K-8.

In his philosophy of education Elton believes that every student is a unique individual, just like our fingerprints. He states that “We all think differently, we all like different foods, different clothes, different music, different books and most important of all, we all have different interests. That is why all subjects should be designed to be learnt through a pleasant and fun experience.” He focuses on having many ways on how to teach a concept and being able to improvise as a teacher, be flexible, quick thinker, and look through the students and connect with them and their needs. Elton believes that education both public and private, should not be a privilege. Every student should have equal experiences in learning even when it requires harder work on teacher’s part.

His main objective and dedication is to be a great teacher, and help younger generations discover the magic of music which can be a long lasting experience, a tool of self expression and a way of life that can improve social and personal relations
