Jared Salvatore, a well-seasoned songwriter and musician, has been performing in the Boston area since 1999 when he was a sophomore at Needham High School. Considered by some to be a “local legend-in-the-making”, he is both solo troubadour and the front man and primary songsmith for the rock group The Zero Four.

Honing his vocal, keyboard, and guitar chops, Jared has played in funk bands at the since-moved Harvard Square House of Blues, and in rock bands at the Paradise, with stops everywhere in between. His career has taken him to venues from coast-to-coast including the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City, Boston's Hard Rock Cafe, The Troubadour in Los Angeles, and the Middle East Downstairs in Cambridge. Jared has had songs he's written or co-written recorded by legendary Grammy winners Kathy Mattea, George Massenburg, and Elliot Scheiner, and has been recognized in several songwriting competitions, including several in the songwriting department at the Berklee College of Music, and an honorable mention in the West Coast Songwriters International Song Contest for the song “Queen of Broken Promises”. Jared's most recent record, Mischief & Mayhem, showcases both his old-school pop sensibility and his introspective lyric writing skills.
