Justin Nawn writes: "As a native of Doylestown PA, I was exposed to music at a very young age. Placing my hands on the piano keys followed shortly after my first footsteps. My grandmother was an extraordinary musician who filled my parents home with rich melodies on a daily basis. Her passion for sharing songs with me continues to inspire my desire to forge meaningful musical connections with people in the community.

Prior to college I performed with multiple choral groups. I continue to enjoy the act of creating rich vocal harmonies with people, and I have had the privilege of singing at venues such as Carnegie Hall, The National Cathedral, Saint John The Devine Cathedral, The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library, Jordan Hall, and the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles.

I graduated Berklee College Of Music in 2009 with a concentration in Music Therapy. During the completion of my undergraduate degree I received extensive training in folk, rock, jazz, slide, and blues guitar. Also as part of my clinical training, I completed a six-month internship at a unique residential school for kids called The Center For Discovery. Complimentary to working therapeutically with the schools life-changing student body, I also received extensive training on improvisational piano methods.

Sharing music is a gift that I find to be extremely motivating. Just as people are all unique, so is musical taste. Regardless of working with groups or individuals, I’m always excited to learn about the melodies that move people. Through sharing musical relationships, it is then part of my goal to help people create the sound that uniquely defines them!"
