Lee Moretti was born and raised in the quirky art town of Providence, Rhode Island. Her musical journey began at age two, when she started playing with her jazz musician father's keyboard and experimenting with singing and sounds. This early creativity marked the beginning of a life in music. She began studying guitar at 12, playing in bands and focusing on rock and pop throughout her teen years until attending Berklee College of Music.

At Berklee, Lee branched out effortlessly, taking on a dual major of Guitar Performance and Music Business while simultaneously studying voice, piano, and bass. Focusing on versatility as well as prowess, Lee dug into blues, jazz, and funk, learning from guitar greats such as Jon Finn, Mark White, and Kevin Barry. She was a featured guitarist, singer, and songwriter in countless showcases including Pop/Rock Live, Guitar Night, and A Tribute to Sheila E. With persistence and drive on her side, it wasn’t long before Lee began carefully managing her time between touring, recording and school.

Since 2007 Lee has been playing with bands that tour nationally, supporting acts such as Third Eye Blind, The All American Rejects, Howie Day, As Tall As Lions, and many others. She has recording credits with Vanessa Carlton and independent artists on vocals, bass, keys, and guitar. Lee graduated from Berklee in May of 2010 and most recently toured nationally as Third Eye Blind’s fifth member in the Fall of 2009 and Spring 2010 on keyboards, background vocals, and guitar. She has performed with the band on The Tonight Show, Good Morning America, The Sundance Film Festival, and in the music video for their single “Bonfire”.

Currently the leader of two independent rock bands, Lee continues to challenge herself musically and expand her versatility. She revels in the explorative, playful aspects of music and greatly enjoys teaching kids and adults of all ages.
