Allyson Lynch is a professional singer and voice teacher in the South Shore area. As a South Shore native, Allyson has been singing and performing with local arts organizations her entire life. Allyson graduated from The Hartt School at The University of Hartford with a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance in 2015. She plans on pursuing a Masters Degree in Opera/Voice Performance in next few years. She has studied with incredible teachers such as Dr. Robert Barefield and Sondra Kelly.
Allyson considers herself to be a “crossover singer,” performing professionally in musical theater, opera and choral repertoire. Some of her favorite credits include singing on the stage of the Boston Shubert Theater in Show Boat (Fiddlehead Theatre Co.) and performing roles such as Anna Maurrant in Street Scene as well as First Lady in The Magic Flute (Hartt Opera Theater) and Clara in Signor Deluso (Opera Connecticut). Allyson is the Soprano section leader for the Sanctuary Choir at The Church of the Pilgrimage in Plymouth.
Allyson graduated from The Hartt School and moved back to the South Shore with her husband and immediately started teaching. Private voice lessons with students of all ages, drama and theater classes, vocal coaching with high school drama clubs, group voice classes and workshops are all things Allyson has been teaching for the last two years. She is a dedicated member of Sigma Alpha Iota, International Music Fraternity, and is extremely passionate about music philanthropy and working to make music education accessible to everyone.
