David Tyler is a singer and teacher in the South Shore. He holds a Bachelor of Voice Performance from McGill University and a Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from New England Conservatory. David has studied under renowned teachers Michael Meraw, Michael McMahon and John Moriarty.
His recent performances include God Bless America at Fenway Park, Saint-Saëns’ Christmas Oratorio at Jordan Hall, Mozart's Mass in C and Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass.
David has also sung with “Vox Futura Choir Boston”, New England's premier professional recording choir which produces projects for feature film and international video games. Collaborations with Vox Futura include recording vocals for Nintendo’s Kirby: Triple Deluxe and Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV.
David serves as the Bass section leader at Church of the Pilgrimage and a substitute cantor at St. Thecla's Parish in Pembroke.
When he is not performing, David can be found spreading his passion for music with local youth. David has acted as a vocal coach for high school musical productions, assistant music director at Camp Aloha, adjudicated MMEA Junior and Senior Districts and taught after school lessons aiding students in the preparation of classical through contemporary repertoire.
