Olivia Lowe


Jams on: Flute, Voice, Guitar, Ukulele, Piano 

Jam central station: Olivia teaches in-home lessons throughout Greater Boston and leads JWY Birthday Parties. 

Preferred jams: Folk & indie singer/songwriters, classical flute. 

Jammer education: Olivia started with flute at age 9 and picked up other instruments throughout her childhood. She graduated from Suffolk University, where she studied Theatre and Sociology with a focus on Youth, Community, and Education, as well as Voice.  

Jamography: At Suffolk, Olivia was student music director of the university’s award-winning a cappella group, the Ramifications. She also took part in productions of Rent, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and an original musical titled one state, two state/red state, blue state. She has recorded professionally and sang in The Common, Suffolk’s rock band, when they opened for Post Malone at Royale Boston.  

How Olivia jams with you: As an instructor, Olivia’s approach is to make learning as fun and personal as possible for her students. She hopes to pass on a passion for music that will make students want to work hard and improve on their own.
