Degrees of jamification: Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Music in Music Performance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He began learning trumpet from his father at a young age and played through 8th grade. At that point, he turned his focus to the drums and continued as a drummer in several ensembles, including a summer drum & bugle corps, throughout High School and College. He began teaching his peers later in college and hasn’t stopped teaching since!

How Andrew jams with you: Andrew is an experienced educator and fantastic musician! He loves learning about how music weaves into each of his students’ lives and what resonates with them to help create a personal connection between them and the world of music. He also lives for those “aha” moments and strives to keep a relaxed and exciting environment to keep those discoveries happening! Andrew hopes his students will learn to love and appreciate the music that speaks to them, and he hopes they gain more confidence in their strengths and abilities, as individuals, along the way.
