Admit it, there was a time when you grabbed a hairbrush or a spoon and belted out your favorite song for an adoring audience in the mirror. There’s something exhilarating about musical performance, and the thought of playing in an actual band? C’mon, that’s just plain cool!
If your child is tired of practicing alone in his or her bedroom and is ready to take it to the next level, it’s time to plug in, crank it up and join the band!
JamBAND is a weekly program offered to students of all abilities who have completed at least 1 year of private lessons. Coached by a master JWY Teacher and comprised of students with comparable skill levels, each JamBANDmate will experience and learn about …

Whether your child’s instrument of choice has keys, strings, reeds, valves or vocal cords, JamBAND is the place they can really rock!
JamBAND is a full year program, beginning in September and running through the second week in June.
We offer multiple performance opportunities throughout the year for our JamBANDs depending on community opportunities and scheduling.

When enrolled in our jamBAND program, we highly encourage your student to continue with private lessons. Band is not a time for a student to learn how to play their individual instrument, but rather a time for students to learn to play together!

Get a real life garage band going this year!
Minimum 4-week session | Minimum 4 students (or minimum $160/class)
Schedule a day and time that is convenient for your group
