Jam good schools: Brianna studied music at The College of St. Rose in Albany, NY.

History of the jam: Brianna’s musical journey began with piano lessons, taught by their grandmother, in second grade. In middle school they added the flute and started singing in High School. Since then, they have participated in myriad musical endeavors including singing in the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, participating in undergraduate opera productions and even playing in a semi-professional youth orchestra.   

How Brianna jams with you: Brianna loves teaching because it truly makes their heart “sing” to be able to instill the very same love of music that all of their instructors instilled within them, from elementary school and beyond. Brianna’s approach includes finding learning methods and at-home exercises that speak directly to each student’s different learning style. They love to learn what makes each student’s brain tick, and run with it. They like to emphasize all the foundations of learning music, while adding bits of more advanced information - in a way the student can understand - to accentuate the given lesson.
