Where’d he learn to jam? Joe holds a Bachelor of Music Performance from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. He first picked up a bass guitar at age 14 and has never looked back! Performing in Jazz Ensembles throughout his High School and College careers, Joe has honed his skills as a performer and uses that knowledge to inform his teaching.

Jams de force: Joe currently performs all over the Greater Boston Area with his band, The 1999 Live and serves as bassist in a weekly church band. To add to his musical legacy, he has also composed, recorded and released over 100 instrumental hip hop and pop tracks that can be purchased on his Beatstars Marketplace as well as on Youtube.

How he jams with you: Joe truly loves music and inspires his students to have as much fun playing and learning music as he does. Something he hopes his students gain from lessons is the idea that by practicing, keeping a positive attitude, and an eagerness to learn, they can accomplish anything, wether it be in music or in any other area of life.
