Ed-jam-ucation: Josh earned a Liberal Arts Degree from Wheaton College and studied piano and guitar with local teachers in Worcester, MA. Josh says his real music education began when I started jammin' with kids in elementary schools, preschools, homes and temples. 

Jams of note: Josh Shriber is the owner and director of Jammin’ With You in Wellesley, MA, AND the principal songwriter and band leader for national touring “kindie” band Josh & the Jamtones! Shriber opened JWY! in 2008 as a vehicle to deliver his own brand of fun, funny, high-energy music education to children and families. Eleven years later, JWY has more than 50 private teachers and 700+ students enrolled, offering in-your-house music lessons and group music and drama classes in dozens of preschools, temples and other early education centers throughout greater Boston and NYC.

Josh and his intrepid band, the Jamtones have played hundreds of shows across the U.S., and shared the stage with Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, Yo Gabba Gabba, The Wiggles, Fresh Beat Band and the Roots! The band has recorded a dozen records and been on countless national tours, bringing quirky, musical bravado into the lives and homes of thousands of children and their families.

Jammy Awards: Josh (and the Jamtones) have won a bunch of impressive music awards and recognitions, including the following. 

  • Top prizes in the American Songwriting Awards and The John Lennon Songwriting Contest.

  • Josh’s Jewish-themed “Jammin’ with Jew!” series, which introduces Judaism in a relaxed and approachable way, has sold 80,000+ records, and is distributed by the popular PJ Library.

  • Becoming the official featured artist of Chuck E. Cheese’s, who display their music videos and animated “Bear Hunt” movie on screens in 506 locations worldwide!

  • Numerous #1 hits on Sirius XM’s Kids Place Live!

A personal note: Josh is a dedicated husband, father, and friend, and always tries to be the funniest guy in the room. He is a fitness aficionado recently competed on American Ninja Warrior!! He also enjoys jumping, spinning, climbing, yoga-ing, circuit training, running and thumb wrestling little children.
