The Next Stop on Your Musical Journey!
At Jammin’ With You, we believe every kid deserves a seat at the musical table — but we know there’s a gap that can leave some young musicians without a home. Too old for JamKIDS, but not quite ready to commit to private lessons? That’s exactly the sweet spot JamKIDS 2 was created to fill! This is the program for the kid who’s caught the music bug and is ready for more — more instruments, more skills, and more fun — but wants to explore before they plant their flag on one instrument.
JamKIDS 2 is designed for kids who are ready to take their music FUNdamentals to the next level! Building on everything your young musician explored in JamKIDS (and with a fun review for brand new Jammers!), this exploration class gives kids the chance to get hands-on experience with music making— the Loog guitar (a kid-friendly 3-stringer!), keyboard, voice, and drums (drum pad and sticks). Please note: kids will be learning on practice-sized instruments, not full-size — perfectly scaled for little rockers!
Over the session, your mini Mozart will:
- Connect notes to music — Learn how note values aren’t just marks on a page, but the heartbeat of every song they’ll ever play
- Play three real instruments — Get hands-on time with the Loog guitar, keyboard, and drums to find out which one makes them light up
- Build rhythm and timing — Develop a strong sense of beat and tempo that will serve them on any instrument for life
- Read and respond to music — Begin to understand how to follow along with simple music and translate what they see into what they play
- Grow their confidence — Practice the focus, patience, and hand coordination that every great musician needs
- Continue to foster their love of music — Because that’s what we’re really here for!
